is one of the fastest growing cities in south-central Idaho. It is the largest
city of Idaho's Magic Valley metropolitan region and the seventh largest city
in the state with a population of 36,742 (2003 US Census Bureau). Twin
Falls is the commercial center for both south-central Idaho and northeastern Nevada

History
Twin Falls was founded in 1904 and named after the waterfall on the Snake River..
It started as an agricultural community with irrigation canals feeding water to
the many different crops that were grown at that time. The
Western and Northern Shoshone were the prominent tribes in the area and the first
signs of human habitants date back more than 14,000 years.  Outdoor
Activities
The Twin Falls area's diverse geography, four seasons, and
abundant water, create an abundance of outdoor activities. From skiing and snow
boarding in the winter time to fishing, hiking and boating in the summer time,
