Twin
Falls was founded in 1904 and named after the waterfall on the Snake River.. It
started as an agricultural community with irrigation canals feeding water to the
many different crops that were grown at that time. The
Western and Northern Shoshone were the prominent tribes in the area and the first
signs of human habitants date back more than 14,000 years.
